Description: Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart mountains to Wurzburg, situated on the banks of the river Main.
Continue to Rothenburg, a picturesque city, located 425 meters above sea level, on a plateau at the intersection of the Romantic and Castle Roads. This once free imperial city is one of Germany's most visited towns.
Upon arrival in Rothenburg around noon, you will have a 2 course lunch at Restaurant Tilman Riemenschneider. In the afternoon you can join a city walk with a local guide showing you the major sights of Rothenburg. For the rest of the afternoon you have free time to explore the city or do some shopping in some of the famous historic shops of the city.
In the late afternoon your coach will pick you up from the city square for your trip back to Frankfurt, where you arrive at about 9:00 pm.
